Last month I went to AVCon and cosplayed as Chun Li (red alternate version) from Street Fighter View the deviations here and here

By the way I am still looking for one of the other Ryu's that I had photos taken with! If you're him/know who it is, please let me know!

Here is my outfit rundown!

Dress: is made from silk. I hand sewed the dress as my sewing machine broke down. Believe me. I did NOT sleep. I made my own patterns based on the Qi Pao dress.
The gold hemming was done using fuse web because it was impossible for me to hand sew bias tape (Thank you to my sister Thong for helping )
I planned on screen printing the gold pattern on her dress but turned out all of the screens at my art studio are broken... So I used ribbon instead...
Ran out of both fuse web and ribbon...
The frog button I bought. It's actually a nice white gold but looks white in comparison.

Boots: I found these boots about a year ago, and knew I had to buy them for this cosplay lol Luckily they were still there! They're a little too chunky and short for Chun Li's boots though, which is why I didn't add the top strap of her boots. Better than hooker boots at least.

Stockings: from Levante. They're dark enough but I wish they were more red. I bought two pairs "just in case"...

Cuffs: carved foam balls, masking tape, paint and a leather belt. Yes. Carved foam LOL
The spikes however I did not make. I paid a wood turner to make them for me as it was almost impossible for me to do (without them looking dodgy!) Then, I spray painted them silver. Looks real eh? That wood turner guy was awesome!

Hair buns: My favorite of the outfit! Made from a plastic ball, hobby fill, ivory white fabric/ribbons and "teeth" clips (not sure what they're called, but I used to use them all the time when I was a kid).
The buns are secure and I can put my hair under the buns with no worries!

If you actually read all this, I'd be amazed.
On a side note, you have no idea how paranoid I was about that side split. FYI I AM wearing panties O_O lol
