A Rescue in Vain by Stygians-Fool A Rescue in Vain by Stygians-Fool
"Sorry I couldn't help much Mister Butterfly... Maybe... we could die together?"

Alternative Name: Waiting for the arrival of Mister Spider

---
This is a submission for [link] and [link] Dark Lepidoptera Contest. :butterflytwo:

First thing first... This is.. extremely different to my normal style :O I have to say that I'm proud of the web showing up clear over the image (when before it was a dark blue) even though I even had to redraw in parts @__@ as well as the amount of editing with her body.
First I flipped her, moved her arms, changed her leg and feet positioning as well as painting on skin and new clothes, tilted her head and then gave her hair... I think that's it :XD:

In terms to the contest, miss attempte's style of 'dark' is very bright. It's a good thing too as it steers away from the stereotypes-- this dark is creepy, eerie, and I kinda like it. :D SO! I tried using that style into my work *while pulling away from her glamorous idea of a [link] butterfly suicide and being my own creative person* <__<...

I think that's about all I have to say :P Bleh
I hope you like it. As always, crits and comments are always welcomed :aww:

Stock
(By the way, I much prefer using my own stocks for images but I just didn't have the resources >__<...)

I used an image of an asagi butterfly that I was looking for googled here: [link]
=AttempteStock <--The girl. The actual image is here if you want to see the differences: [link]
~attempte-stock <-- summer-girl texture (also by the lovely Attempte :D)
*textureific <---It's not easily recognisable, but I used his leaf texture [link] and some very liiiight clouds [link]
~poison-stock112 <-- Web in dew

The background, part web and hair brush was also of my own recources. If you're interested you can find *some* of my stock here ~stygians-fool-stock
